Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems to prepare for production at rate.
  • •Set and manage inventory level targets, review line of balances, align demand/supply signals and allocations, and maintain product master data.
  • •Mitigate supply risk and ensure continuity of supply by constructing and executing supply plans that meet product needs on time and with quality.
  • •Triage MRP signals and educate supported teams on proper MRP use and its business value.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality to implement change cut-in and reduce obsolescence; partner on advanced strategies like long-term purchases and strategic safety stock.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations, or supply chain management (or 3+ years in one or more of these areas).
  • •Experience in material cost control and/or master production scheduling and planning work.
  • •Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
  • •Technical knowledge in a relevant commodity (e.g., machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending and assembly, weldment assembly, soft goods).
  • •APICS certification or Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
