Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the store consistently meets or exceeds sales, KPI, and profitability targets through effective short- and long-term planning, expense control, sales, and service.
  • •Assist the store manager and assistant manager with recruiting, training, development, and succession of high-performing, results-driven employees.
  • •Oversee payroll and scheduling to maintain a highly profitable location while delivering top-level customer service.
  • •Manage merchandising opportunities for the store and communicate them to the store or associate store manager.
  • •Aim to meet or exceed inventory and shrink targets, and conduct physical stock counts as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 22.6 - 25.6 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •1 to 2 years of experience in a targeted retail environment with strong customer service focus (preferably apparel/shoes)
  • •Proven ability to exceed sales targets and to reason through complex issues, and to present information to large groups
  • •A good team player with excellent communication skills
  • •Ability to learn quickly and basic computer skills including MS Office and retail software
  • •Must be able to stand/move constantly and lift/push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly
