Key Responsibilities

  • •Authenticate luxury fine jewelry items across low- and high-risk categories.
  • •Identify colored stones and diamonds using GIA evaluation techniques and test procedures to determine precious metal purity.
  • •Inspect consigned products for condition, quality of materials, and acceptance standards.
  • •Use reference guides and historical data to research fair market value and market demand, then support list pricing with direction and final approval.
  • •Complete product data entry (measurements and fabrication) and support pricing methodology, production targets, and process/system improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5+ years of fine jewelry and/or watch experience.
  • •Experience with diamonds, including selling, grading, and pricing.
  • •Some GIA coursework preferred (Diamond and Diamond Grading).
  • •Experience with colored stones and/or appraisal preferred.
  • •Strong vision and color perception (Red/Green/Amber), with computer and data entry skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
