Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform and manage installation, commissioning, service, and support of BEUMER conveying systems and equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot electro-mechanical components and network/IO cabling to diagnose malfunctions and recommend repairs or replacements.
  • •Inspect and perform corrective, emergency, and preventative maintenance for conveying systems and associated components.
  • •Interpret data and maintenance documentation (manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams) and adjust maintenance schedules/activities.
  • •Provide accurate written service reports/as-built documentation; coordinate resolution with engineering and customer service personnel; supervise installation/testing when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, technical courses, or equivalent experience and training.
  • •Demonstrated capability and experience in maintenance operations, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of bulk conveying systems and industrial equipment.
  • •Experience with heavy conveyors, belting and drive systems, and electro-mechanical systems and their maintenance.
  • •Read schematics and wiring diagrams, and use standard test instruments and hand tools to repair equipment.
  • •Ability to work as part of a project team; use computer-based tools (communication, troubleshooting, and programming) and communicate effectively (verbal and written).
