Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete electrical power and lighting design for projects of all sizes.
  • •Make major design recommendations and key design decisions with limited input from senior staff.
  • •Plan design work, calculate costs and schedules, and assign design duties to junior staff.
  • •Coordinate design and schedules with other disciplines and suppliers (architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical).
  • •Maintain project documentation and design data; attend meetings and support clients with proposals and presentations while advising and reviewing junior team correspondence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or industrial engineering with an Electrical Emphasis from an accredited program.
  • •8–10+ years of experience in a similar role (or equivalent experience/education).
  • •Fluent English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • •Team management/coordination experience with the ability to lead and mentor mid-level and junior staff.
  • •Knowledge of international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC, etc.) and experience using electrical engineering calculation software (e.g., CANECO, ETAP).
