Key Responsibilities

  • •Use precision calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, depth gauges, calipers) and perform work per procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
  • •Read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions, using various mechanical tools without instruction.
  • •Execute manufacturing processes for engine subassemblies, including tack welding, fastener installation, precision cleaning, pressure testing, and general mechanical assembly.
  • •Perform blending, filing, and shearing of sheet metal and casted piece parts, and conduct cryogenic and thermal part fitment and installs.
  • •Fulfill dynamic balance operations, maintain clean workstations, and provide documented build feedback and communicate build blockers to leadership and engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ years of experience in turbomachinery or other engine or rocket mechanical assembly.
  • •Must be able to work standard 10-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with additional weekend support/overtime when needed.
  • •Must be able to lift 35 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods of time.
  • •For ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
