Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver continuous excellence in servicing an existing book and identifying client/prospect needs.
  • •Develop and nurture client relationships as risk management advisor of choice.
  • •Manage daily bonding needs, including receipt/review of bond requests and coordination with underwriters for approvals.
  • •Lead administrative service functions (bond issuance, modifications, renewals/cancellations, invoicing, collections, file/database management).
  • •Provide surety/industry presentations, monitor receivables, collect outstanding premium, and support prospecting/lead generation and cross-selling.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of contract surety underwriting experience.
  • •Construction-specific experience from a program/project perspective.
  • •Strong financial analysis skills assessing contractor financial strength for bonding.
  • •A consistent track record of business development.
  • •Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, and Accounting (or equivalent education and industry experience).
