Job Summary

Install, repair, and modify plumbing systems for base facilities, covering water supply, sewage disposal, gas distribution, and related utility equipment. Review building plans to plan installation sequences, cut openings, and assemble/install pipes, fittings, and valves. Diagnose and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and clogged drains, complete work orders, and support the project Safety Plan through day-to-day safety adherence.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, repair, and modify plumbing systems for water supply, sewage disposal, gas distribution, oil lines, and similar utility equipment.
•Study building plans and drawings to determine required work aids and the sequence of installations.
•Cut openings in walls and floors and use tools and machines to cut/thread and bend pipes as required.
•Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes using appropriate metals and nonmetals.
•Repair and maintain plumbing by fixing leaks and clogged drains, complete work orders, and support the project Safety Plan.

Key Requirements

•Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of an apprenticeship.
•2-3 years of relevant plumbing experience.
•Relevant experience in UAE or Gulf is preferred.
•Strong problem-solving skills.
•Experience identifying plumbing problems and providing solutions to resolve them.
