Job Summary

Support structural engineering work for building and infrastructure projects in the public and private sectors. Assist with research and inspections of site conditions, perform routine engineering tasks, and help verify structural soundness under loads and environmental or human influences. Produce accurate design documentation using electronic systems and drawings/2D/3D illustrations, while complying with safety procedures and analyzing project data such as surveys, blueprints, GIS, and geotechnical inputs. Complete training and follow code-of-conduct standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions to confirm conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
•Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements and operating strategies focused on safety and functionality.
•Help verify structural soundness from loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence.
•Generate complete, accurate documentation using electronic systems, drawings, 2D/3D illustrations, and site notebook/logs.
•Collect, compile, and analyze project data from site surveys, blueprints, GIS, subsurface utility information, maps, and geotechnical inputs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related).
•3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience.
•Excellent research skills with an analytical mindset.
•Knowledge of structural/civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping.
•Familiarity with structural design software including SAFE, ETABS, RAM Structural Systems, PC Column, AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and Excel.
