Job Summary

Oversee all daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing of food products. Lead production lines across assigned shifts, manage labor and staffing, and track KPIs such as OEE, throughput, waste, and yield. Ensure strict adherence to GMPs, HACCP, SQF/FSMA, allergen controls, and CAPA processes. Provide leadership and coaching to supervisors and line teams while driving continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma/5S/Kaizen) and maintaining accurate production documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee production lines across assigned shifts to meet schedules, output targets, labor plans, and customer expectations.
•Ensure finished products meet quality and specification requirements (including packaging, labeling, palletization) and comply with HACCP, SQF/FSMA, allergen control, and audit standards.
•Champion safety and GMP excellence, including walkthroughs and partnership with EH&S for OSHA compliance and accident prevention programs.
•Lead, mentor, and develop Production Supervisors, Leads, and line teams; conduct performance evaluations and ensure training on SOPs, GMPs, and safety.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen), use data-driven root-cause problem solving, and maintain production documentation, reporting, and cross-functional communication.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of food manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
•Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, SQF/FSMA, CCP/CP monitoring, and food safety regulations.
•Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple production areas simultaneously.
•Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to interpret specifications, SOPs, operational data, and regulatory requirements.
