Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate diamond/core drilling rigs in accordance with company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • •Conduct pre-start inspections and ongoing checks of drill rigs, rods, core barrels, pumps, and support equipment
  • •Accurately set up drill sites, align rigs, and collar holes to specified angles, depths, and locations
  • •Monitor drilling parameters including rotation speed, bit pressure, water flow, and penetration rates to optimize core recovery and equipment performance
  • •Ensure maximum core recovery, correct handling, and proper placement of core in trays

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25 - 45 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a Diamond/Core Driller in mineral exploration or mining environments
  • •Strong understanding of diamond drilling techniques, core recovery methods, and basic geology
  • •Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance
  • •Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • •Ability to work long shifts in remote or FIFO environments
