Key Responsibilities

  • •Load and unload carriers, operate staging elevators and transfer conveyors, and transport materials within Eaton as required.
  • •Operate forklift truck or hand truck to move, stack, and deliver material to/from proper destinations or storage areas.
  • •Move machined parts, castings, assemblies, material, and supplies between stations, storage areas, and other departments.
  • •Count and sort parts by hand and visually inspect for missed operations or faulty material, reporting issues.
  • •Maintain a clean and orderly work area; complete related duties such as LP gas tank changes, battery water replenishment, simple charging hook-ups, and assigned training.
