Job Summary

Lead maintenance teams responsible for installing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on critical plant equipment, facilities, utilities, and the powerhouse. Partner with Production to schedule maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and maintain effective maintenance systems (e.g., TPM, SOPs, safety). Track maintenance performance with KPIs, ensure USDA-compliant work and accurate documentation, and provide continuity and people leadership for the 2nd shift operation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead maintenance teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians for predictive/preventive maintenance and machine repairs.
•Plan and schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production; develop and implement maintenance systems such as prevention/predictive maintenance, TPM, and SOPs.
•Troubleshoot equipment issues and support day-to-day problem analysis and equipment failure resolution.
•Develop and maintain maintenance KPIs and provide regular status reports to maintenance management.
•Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations; maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records; provide continuity when key personnel are absent.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•Experience leading as a lead by training, coaching, or mentoring others, or managing a process or project.
•Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office; may require working long hours and weekends.
