Job Summary

Conduct regular site inspections to enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance on major transportation and infrastructure works in Madinah. Monitor construction activities across roads, highways, utility corridors, underground services, drainage networks, and civil infrastructure, ensuring HSE plans, method statements, and risk assessments are implemented. Identify unsafe acts/conditions and environmental concerns, manage permit-to-work and safety measures, support incident investigations, and maintain inspection and audit records while coordinating with engineers, contractors, and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, client standards, and Saudi regulations.
•Monitor construction activities related to roads, highways, utility corridors, underground services, drainage networks, transportation infrastructure, and associated civil works.
•Verify implementation of approved HSE plans, procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.
•Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and environmental concerns, and ensure timely corrective actions.
•Review and monitor permit-to-work systems, excavation permits, confined space activities, lifting operations, and traffic management measures.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Professional HSE certifications, including NEBOSH IGC (mandatory), IOSH Managing/Working Safely, and OSHA 30-hour (preferred).
•Minimum 5-8 years of HSE experience in infrastructure, transportation, and utility projects.
•At least 3 years of experience with an Engineering Consultancy, Supervision Consultant, or PMC organization.
•Proven experience on roads/highways, transportation infrastructure, utility networks (water, wastewater, stormwater, electrical, telecom), and civil infrastructure/underground services; strong knowledge of international HSE standards.
