Key Responsibilities

  • •Cover motors, electrical plugs, and electrical control panels, and clean up excess waste on floors prior to wash down.
  • •Use pressure hoses to spray down production equipment and parts (e.g., conveyors, grinders, blenders, tables, sinks, vats, bins) and scour parts with scouring pads.
  • •Sanitize equipment and areas with sanitizer, apply oil to parts where needed, and clean lights, pipes, and walls as instructed.
  • •Remove waste from waste bins and place non-recyclable waste into the compactor; separate and place recyclable waste into recyclable compactors.
  • •Assist with coordinating evening work assignments, training sanitation employees, assisting the sanitation supervisor with training and safety awareness, and perform bioluminescence swabs on pre-selected equipment in RTE and Kitchen.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including repeated pushing/pulling/lifting up to 60 pounds and tolerating temperatures of 35°F or below for the full shift.
  • •Willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed and work on all shifts.
  • •Working knowledge of USDA regulations, plant sanitation standards, and procedures preferred.
  • •Willing and able to comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements, and complete all required training for the job.
  • •Mechanical knowledge preferred and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
