Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain power equipment (e.g., cranes, bulldozers, pumps, compressors, trench-digging machines, conveyors).
  • •Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects; dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
  • •Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges; replace defective engines and subassemblies such as transmissions.
  • •Weld broken parts and structural members; direct workers assisting with cleaning, assembly, and disassembly.
  • •Repair, adjust, and maintain mining machinery; perform work indoors and outdoors with periodic overtime.

  • •5+ years heavy equipment maintenance experience.
  • •Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
