Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy power equipment used on-site, including diagnosing malfunctions, inspecting machines, dismantling and reassembling components, and testing overhauled equipment for operating efficiency. Weld broken parts, repair and adjust mining machinery, and use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges. Work both indoors and outdoors with periodic overtime and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather.
