Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and own agent systems end-to-end from design through production for identity, fraud, risk, and commerce workflows.
  • •Build reliable, steerable multi-step agent workflows that plan, execute, observe outcomes, and iteratively improve with tool use and human-in-the-loop patterns.
  • •Troubleshoot novel, non-deterministic failures across models, tools, orchestration, and infrastructure, using hypotheses and instrumentation to identify root cause.
  • •Ensure compliance in a regulated domain by supporting auditability, correctness, and human oversight as core features.
  • •Set and communicate a technical vision, making specs that agents can execute and teammates can trust, and orchestrate agents while maintaining accountability for outputs.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated impact on production systems.
  • •Fluency using AI agents in your engineering workflow, including keeping a mental model, verifying outputs, and staying accountable.
  • •Ability to own features end-to-end and communicate trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Experience defining problems on ambiguous or novel projects, not just executing handed-down specs.
  • •Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including prompt engineering, RAG, tool use, and an agent framework (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) plus evaluation frameworks for agent behavior.
