Key Responsibilities

  • •Own overall contract performance across cost, schedule, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction.
  • •Lead 24/7/365 global deep-space surveillance contract execution to ensure readiness and mission success across GEODSS sites.
  • •Oversee operations and maintenance for electro-optical telescopes, sensors, and supporting ground systems, including preventive/corrective maintenance and compliance with TOs and cybersecurity/COMSEC policies.
  • •Manage geographically dispersed teams, including staffing, certifications/qualifications, shift coverage, and mentoring supervisors and technical staff.
  • •Manage contract and financial performance (budgets, funding execution, forecasting, KPIs/EVM, subcontractor/vendor performance) and ensure compliance with DoD and company policies while identifying and mitigating risks.
Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 8–12 years of progressively responsible program management experience supporting DoD, aerospace, defense, or space operations programs.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing large, geographically dispersed operational teams in mission-critical environments.
  • •Experience supporting Space Domain Awareness (SDA), space surveillance, electro-optical sensor systems, or ground-based operational systems.
  • •Active Top Secret security clearance required; SCI eligibility or current SCI access preferred.
