Job Summary

Lead finance-related integration for mergers and acquisitions, from pre-close planning through post-close stabilization. Serve as the primary finance point of contact for acquired leadership, perform integration assessments across systems, controls, policies, reporting, and working capital, and ensure Day-1 finance readiness (banking, cash management, payroll, AP/AR, billing). Build integration plans, manage go-live milestones, resolve risks/issues, and support synergy tracking with FP&A while coordinating cross-functionally with IT, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, HR, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the primary finance point of contact for acquired business leadership during integration.
•Perform finance integration assessments across systems, accounting policies, internal controls, reporting, and working capital considerations.
•Develop finance integration plans, timelines, resource requirements, and support financial due diligence by identifying integration risks and data gaps.
•Ensure Day-1 finance readiness (banking, cash management, payroll, AP/AR, billing, financial close) and coordinate transition of responsibilities from the seller.
•Lead integration of financial systems and controls through stabilization and go-live milestones; monitor progress and resolve/escalate risks while supporting synergy tracking with FP&A.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
•7+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
•Direct experience with mergers & acquisitions, financial integrations, or large-scale system/process transformations.
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting.
•Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication to deliver insights.
