Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the software engineering organization across ecommerce, mobile, APIs and integration, cloud, reliability, security, and quality engineering.
  • •Set strategic engineering direction and govern execution of the full software development lifecycle across digital commerce, mobile, supply chain, data, and cloud modernization platforms.
  • •Establish API-first design standards and cloud-native engineering practices across distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture; represent Engineering in Design Authority.
  • •Govern secure SDLC execution including secure coding, test automation, CI/CD, and observability to ensure quality, security, and delivery pace.
  • •Own delivery governance, engineering metrics/KPIs, continuous improvement, engineering budget and vendor strategy, and engineering talent/organization strategy including operating model and headcount planning.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of software engineering experience, including senior engineering leadership across large, multi-team technology organizations.
  • •Deep expertise in cloud-native development including AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and relevant ecommerce/mobile platforms (e.g., SFCC, Shopify, React Native, Fluent).
  • •Strong command of engineering excellence disciplines: secure coding, test automation, CI/CD, observability, and application security across ecommerce, mobile, APIs, and cloud.
  • •Proven ability to build and lead large, multi-team engineering organizations, including manager development, organization design, workforce/capacity planning, and delivery governance.
  • •Experience owning engineering budgets and vendor management, including organizational-scale responsible AI adoption and AI-assisted development.
