Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative, predictive, and general maintenance and repairs on blowmold and injection equipment and auxiliary plant support equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and restore safe operation.
  • •Read electrical and hydraulic schematics, identify control circuits and symbols, and diagnose faults in circuits and logic.
  • •Support equipment installation and upgrades, including working with PLCs, motors, relays, starters, and control circuits.
  • •Follow safety rules (No Injuries Safety Contract), use required PPE, communicate hazards, and perform related duties directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or completion of a vo-tech program (vo-tech preferred).
  • •Completed Mold Technician requirements or demonstrated prior experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using appropriate theory, procedures, and schematics.
  • •Ability to work with PLC programs and electrical control circuits, including reading electrical schematics and identifying symbols.
  • •Provide required personal tools and test equipment for maintenance tasks (basic electrical test tools, industrial/air/plumbing/welding tools, and specialty tools).
