Partner closely with families/learning coaches to provide timely support and troubleshooting, and travel occasionally for professional development and testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide synchronous and asynchronous online math instruction while personalizing learning to student needs.
•Monitor student progress in Stride K12’s learning management system and maintain gradebook integrity.
•Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and adjust course content under academy guidance.
•Communicate regularly with students and learning coaches/parents and support troubleshooting in the virtual classroom.
•Prepare students for standardized tests and travel occasionally (about once per month) for required school functions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•Active state teaching license (Arkansas high school math teaching certification required).
•Ability to clear required background check.
•Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.
•Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or brick-and-mortar environment.
