Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide synchronous and asynchronous online math instruction while personalizing learning to student needs.
  • •Monitor student progress in Stride K12’s learning management system and maintain gradebook integrity.
  • •Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and adjust course content under academy guidance.
  • •Communicate regularly with students and learning coaches/parents and support troubleshooting in the virtual classroom.
  • •Prepare students for standardized tests and travel occasionally (about once per month) for required school functions.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •Active state teaching license (Arkansas high school math teaching certification required).
  • •Ability to clear required background check.
  • •Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.
  • •Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or brick-and-mortar environment.
