Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate, confirm, match, and settle securities traded by the Global Markets team within agreed turnaround times in Murex.
  • •Send trade confirmations to counterparties and ensure Omgeo-matched deals are allocated to onboarded funds.
  • •Book trades on agreed value dates, transfer net settlement amounts before cut-off, and follow up on unsettled/unmatched trades.
  • •Ensure timely settlement of coupons and corporate actions and resolve reconciliation issues.
  • •Prepare accurate reports, maintain SOP documentation, update KRIs daily, and support training and knowledge sharing for junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • •5 years’ relevant banking experience with at least 2 years in similar operations roles with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • •Strong knowledge of capital markets operations, including validation, confirmation, matching, and securities settlement.
  • •Experience with reconciliation monitoring and life-cycle event processing.
  • •Knowledge of operational and regulatory requirements relevant to the jurisdiction in operation.
