Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the pharmacy vendor portfolio (primary, backup, regional, specialty) and manage vendor scorecards, QBRs, SLAs, and contract renewals.
  • •Build and maintain pharmacy cost models, lead pricing benchmarking, identify COGS levers, and partner with growth/finance in monthly close reviews.
  • •Partner with clinical ops and product/engineering to manage formulary and titration changes and ensure pharmacy order-to-ship pipeline and integration health.
  • •Own the end-to-end member medication/prescription shipment SLA, including communication triggers and lost/delayed shipment resolution workflows with vendors and MX.
  • •Run compliance and quality operations for the compounded network, including 503A/503B distinctions, third-party testing cadence, recall/withdrawal workflows, and shortage inventory planning.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in pharmacy operations or healthcare supply chain (Senior Manager/Director level experience preferred).
  • •PharmD required to bring clinical credibility alongside operational depth.
  • •Proven track record owning pharmacy vendor relationships end-to-end, including SLA accountability, QBRs, and contract negotiations.
  • •Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical cost structures and drug acquisition, with ability to build and defend a pharmacy P&L model.
  • •Experience operating in or adjacent to compounded pharmacy (503A or 503B) with working knowledge of USP compliance and third-party testing requirements.
