Job Summary

Own end-to-end pharmacy operations across vendor strategy, cost and margin, and member shipment SLAs. Lead vendor scorecards, QBRs, RFPs, contract renewals, and escalation playbooks while partnering with clinical ops and product/engineering on workflow and order-to-ship integration health. Manage compliance and quality operations for compounded networks, oversee recall/withdrawal workflows, and drive inventory, capacity, and shortage planning through forecasting and allocation playbooks.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the pharmacy vendor portfolio (primary, backup, regional, specialty) and manage vendor scorecards, QBRs, SLAs, and contract renewals.
•Build and maintain pharmacy cost models, lead pricing benchmarking, identify COGS levers, and partner with growth/finance in monthly close reviews.
•Partner with clinical ops and product/engineering to manage formulary and titration changes and ensure pharmacy order-to-ship pipeline and integration health.
•Own the end-to-end member medication/prescription shipment SLA, including communication triggers and lost/delayed shipment resolution workflows with vendors and MX.
•Run compliance and quality operations for the compounded network, including 503A/503B distinctions, third-party testing cadence, recall/withdrawal workflows, and shortage inventory planning.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in pharmacy operations or healthcare supply chain (Senior Manager/Director level experience preferred).
•PharmD required to bring clinical credibility alongside operational depth.
•Proven track record owning pharmacy vendor relationships end-to-end, including SLA accountability, QBRs, and contract negotiations.
•Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical cost structures and drug acquisition, with ability to build and defend a pharmacy P&L model.
•Experience operating in or adjacent to compounded pharmacy (503A or 503B) with working knowledge of USP compliance and third-party testing requirements.
