Key Responsibilities

  • •Support current and upcoming Defence opportunities across Western Australia for Defence and Defence Industry sectors.
  • •Deliver naval shipbuilding, maritime sustainment, Defence infrastructure, capital works, and capability-related projects.
  • •Engage stakeholders effectively across Defence governance environments.
  • •Apply Defence delivery experience to support initiatives with relevant Defence groups and/or industry partners.
  • •Contribute to project delivery while working alongside Defence organisations and industry partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • •Formal project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent recognised project delivery qualification (e.g., AIPM CPPM, RegPM).
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
  • •Demonstrated experience supporting the Department of Defence within specified service groups across maritime and/or infrastructure initiatives.
  • •Demonstrated experience working with Defence shipbuilding primes/sustainment providers or prime infrastructure builders delivering Defence infrastructure project management and contract administration.
