Job Summary

Support the Venue Sustainability Manager by running the on-site resource recovery and circularity program for The Gorge events. Sort waste during mid- and post-show recycling, composting, donations, and landfill diversion to maximize landfill diversion goals. Help onboard and train the crew, assist with fan and staff education, maintain clean sorting areas, and support post-show pick after events, including weekends and show days.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in venue sustainability crew onboarding and training.
•Assist with mid- and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
•Be available to work show days and non-show days to ensure waste is sorted and diverted.
•Help the Venue Sustainability Manager and Supervisor with educational support for crew members and fans.
•Maintain a clean sorting area and support post-show pick, including occasional shifts on days after a show.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.13 - 19 hourly

•Ability to walk, bend, reach, stoop, lift, and carry 50+ lbs, with significant time spent sorting materials.

•Demonstrated time management skills and willingness to work late hours when needed.
•Experience with events/zero waste events is a plus.
