Key Responsibilities

  • •Capture the current manufacturing process in a 3D simulation-based virtual factory, including physical constraints and detailed decision logic.
  • •Generate feasible shop floor, warehouse, factory, and supply chain plans and schedules by ensuring resource, material, and timeline feasibility.
  • •Maintain an adaptive, data-driven virtual factory to provide a current-status digital reference model for performance forecasting.
  • •Own design of new production lines and work station layouts for low rate and full-rate production using data-driven approaches.
  • •Identify high-variation processes, imbalances, and bottlenecks, then drive resolution with appropriate owners using production health/efficiency metrics and KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with Technomatix “Plant Sim” or equivalent DES tools (Promodel, FlexSim, Simio, etc.), or basic object-oriented programming knowledge (e.g., Python, R, C++, Java).
  • •Ability to work with large data sets using SQL or No-SQL.
  • •Ability to read technical documentation (facility drawings, assembly drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing procedures).
  • •Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
