Key Responsibilities

•Gather spatial data for resilience and other projects, construct and manage databases, and analyze data to provide outputs.
•Use programming to generate spatial outputs and, where necessary, present data through web portals.
•Produce spatial maps using best practice cartography and maintain GIS data standards.
•Track industry trends and standards in GIS; communicate across diverse groups within a global organization.
•Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment and uphold confidentiality and ethical work practices.

Key Requirements

•Graduate degree in GIS / Geology / Civil Engineering or related discipline; Masters in Geospatial / Remote Sensing / Engineering Geology preferred.
•Minimum 4 years of post-qualification professional experience in geospatial data management and hazard mapping.
•Experience in GIS processing and remote sensing, with proficiency in ArcGIS and/or qGIS; familiar with Python scripting.
•Strong capability in remote sensing tasks (InSAR Analysis, ArcGIS Web App, Survey123, StoryMaps, Remote Sensing Analysis) and 3D mapping.
•Good cartographic and data management skills; ability to work across platforms and communicate effectively within a global organization.
