Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I by completing a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending in a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, identify financial needs, cross-sell retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive appointments for periodic financial reviews using approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions and support platform staff while following policies and managing risk.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
•Process teller transactions and participate in the consumer loan and bankcard process from application through closing while following retail policies and risk procedures.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to established customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
