Job Summary

Provide advanced operational engineering support for cybersecurity platforms and services across production and hybrid environments. Triage and resolve escalated incidents, validate change readiness, patch and remediate vulnerabilities, and improve monitoring and runbook quality. Serve as Incident Manager during major cybersecurity-related incidents, partner with Level 1/1.5 teams and service owners, and support cloud/container operations across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide advanced operational support for cybersecurity platforms and services, including production support, incident triage, change validation, patching, vulnerability remediation, configuration assurance, and recurring operational checks.
•Investigate and resolve escalated platform/service issues across cybersecurity tools, infrastructure dependencies, monitoring workflows, access paths, integrations, and service availability.
•Act as an Incident Manager during major cybersecurity-related incidents by coordinating response activities, driving technical engagement, maintaining communications, and ensuring resolution and post-incident review.
•Develop, maintain, and improve operational runbooks/SOPs, troubleshooting guides, decision trees, process diagrams, evidence requirements, and escalation paths for Level 1 and Level 1.5 execution.
•Support cloud and hybrid platform operations across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including containers and Kubernetes, and create operational metrics and service health reporting.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 128,000 - 216,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity technology operations, production support, or service operations for enterprise-scale platforms and services.
•3+ years supporting Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments, including health, access paths, service dependencies, patching, troubleshooting, and operational readiness.
•3+ years supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, containers, Kubernetes, integrations, monitoring, and service reliability.
•3+ years using scripting/automation/configuration tools such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform to improve operational support and reliability.
•3+ years managing incident/change/problem and ticketing workflows, including service request handling and cross-functional operational support, using tools such as Jira and Confluence and ITIL practices.
