Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the Central Maintenance subject matter expert for Electrical Safe Work practices, including NFPA 70E, arc flash risk management, energized work controls, lockout/tagout, and electrical hazard assessments
  • •Provide direct technical support for plant power distribution systems from the 138kV transformer yard down to 480V substations
  • •Provide PLC and electrical troubleshooting support for Central Maintenance assets with emphasis on safe, reliable, and compliant work execution
  • •Develop, coordinate, and manage preventive maintenance schedules, inspection requirements, and compliance activities for 480V substations and related electrical infrastructure
  • •Lead and validate electrical projects and audits to ensure designs, installations, and maintenance meet electrical codes, safety expectations, and reliability requirements

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 10 years of electrical experience in an industrial environment
  • •Expert-level knowledge of high-voltage industrial electrical systems and power distribution (substations, transformer yards, switchgear, protective relays)
  • •Strong working knowledge of Electrical Safe Work practices, NFPA 70E, arc flash hazards, energized work controls, lockout/tagout, and electrical risk assessment
  • •Experience supporting electrical systems in a heavy manufacturing or similarly high-risk industrial environment
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment testing under a specific area of discipline
