Job Function: Industrial, Process & Manufacturing Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the development of packaging solutions for new and existing products and lead packaging solution development for select product categories.
  • •Develop, maintain, and optimize packaging specifications and assembly instructions across assigned categories.
  • •Work cross-functionally with program and product managers, design and industrial engineering, marketing, merchandising, sourcing, operations, and international teams plus packaging and manufacturing suppliers.
  • •Design, plan, and conduct packaging performance testing and trials, ensuring proper documentation of each activity.
  • •Initiate and drive packaging efficiencies with logistics, retail, and manufacturing partners, including automated UPC label creation and real-time packaging material matrix maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related degree (preferred).
  • •2+ years’ experience in a Packaging Engineering role.
  • •Familiarity with packaging testing methodology such as ISTA and ASTM and packaging software such as TOPS and MaxLoad Pro.
  • •Ability to prioritize high-impact activities and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • •Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
