Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cash flow reports, and cost control systems throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets and client objectives, including tracking commitments, expenditures, accruals, and forecasts.
  • •Estimate and evaluate change orders; maintain change logs and ensure cost implications are understood, documented, and communicated.
  • •Prepare and present monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and financial updates; compile and maintain benchmarking data, cost histories, and project financial records.
  • •Review pay applications and support invoice validation, assess contractor pricing/commercial submissions, and provide input during design development, value engineering, and procurement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5+ years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls supporting large-scale construction projects.
  • •Strong experience in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • •Experience leading cost management activities and reviewing contractor estimates, change orders, pay applications, valuations, and final accounts.
  • •Advanced knowledge of cost control systems, financial forecasting tools, and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles with strong analytical and client-facing communication skills.
