Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all functions related to CDMs, tally cheques with journal, and forward to clearing within agreed TAT
  • •Maintain and manage cash, balance cash boxes, and ensure zero variance and accurate GL reconciliation
  • •Handle bulk cash receipts/withdrawals, credit/debit customer accounts, and process payments within authority limits
  • •Monitor sundry and suspense accounts, issue DDs and managers cheques, and perform internal transfers
  • •Train and guide tellers, ensure adherence to bank policies, and promote digital channel usage

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate, preferably in commercially oriented discipline or Diploma in business / finance related subjects.
  • •2 to 6 yrs of Retail banking experience with a good understanding of Teller / Cash Transaction
  • •Experience with Cheque Deposit Machines (CDM) operations and branch cash handling procedures
  • •Strong accuracy in cash handling and cash box balancing with reconciliation to GL
  • •Ability to guide branch tellers and train new joiners
