Job Summary

Help deliver middleware and API-based solutions for customers in Mexico City, partnering with a lead architect to turn technology implementations into organizational transformation. You’ll apply software and systems engineering to design and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant systems, build and troubleshoot Kafka-based data pipelines, develop APIs using Red Hat technologies, and provide 24x7 production support through an on-call rotation in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with a lead architect to cocreate innovative software solutions using emerging open source technology and modern software design methods in an agile environment.
•Apply software engineering and systems engineering principles to design, build, and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems with reliability and user needs in mind.
•Develop APIs using Red Hat technology products and services.
•Design, develop, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines, including issue analysis, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
•Participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7x365 production support, practicing sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required.
•3+ years of experience with advanced knowledge of middleware technologies and application integration in enterprise web or middleware development projects.
•Knowledge and some experience in OpenShift by Red Hat, and experience with another Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) considered.
•Hands-on experience designing and implementing JEE solutions, including experience with major middleware platforms (preferably Red Hat JBoss Middleware; e.g., Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere).
•Hands-on experience building pipelines and CI/CD, plus knowledge of DevOps and microservices.
