Key Responsibilities

•Lead and/or support sector-leading procurement projects and programmes as the strategic procurement subject matter expert.
•Provide procurement advice including understanding client drivers and project success factors, leading delivery model, contract strategy, and route to market.
•Manage the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender document development, tender management, evaluation, and negotiation.
•Provide advice on commercial aspects, category management and performance management.
•Support work winning activity including contributing to proposal documentation and developing overall procurement service offering.

Key Requirements

•Five years post-qualification knowledge and experience leading procurement for complex construction and infrastructure projects.
•Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through contract management.
•Proven project/programme management experience with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
•Strong people skills and ability to influence, challenge and establish as a trusted advisor.
•Experience in strategic sourcing, category management and contract management.
