Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain mobile client components that capture listening and user behavior signals across Spotify.
  • •Build high-quality, well-tested Kotlin code contributing to datasets used for royalty reporting, analytics, experimentation, and personalization.
  • •Collaborate with Android, iOS, backend, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • •Improve architecture, reliability, and quality of systems used to collect and process user behavior signals.
  • •Contribute to new capabilities that enable richer listening and engagement signals while improving event reporting integrations.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software development experience with Android or mobile platforms, with strong Kotlin expertise.
  • •Proficient in building maintainable, scalable, and well-tested software systems.
  • •Experience collaborating with engineers across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • •Familiarity with iOS development (Swift/Objective-C) and native integration concepts.
  • •Ability to work in large codebases, learn new domains quickly, and emphasize code quality and maintainability.
