Senior Outfit/ Mechanical Detail Designer

Deliver structural/outfit detail design solutions for the River Class Destroyer program, aligned to design intent and stakeholder requirements. Execute and manage detail design tasks with technical autonomy, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Detail Design Quality Management processes. Perform self-checks and peer reviews of engineering outputs, including Bill of Materials (BOM). Coach and mentor early-career designers, working closely with UK-based senior team members and occasionally deputizing for the Technical Lead – Detail Design.
