Job Summary

Shape and execute communications strategy across external, digital, and internal channels for a transportation and midstream leader. Serve as a trusted communications partner, advancing business objectives, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and protecting corporate reputation. Lead crisis communications preparedness and incident response, manage media inquiries, maintain web and social content, uphold brand standards, support executive messaging, and collaborate with internal and external partners to improve messaging across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead crisis communications preparedness for incidents and crisis situations, including planning, training, message development, and exercises.
•Support communications response during incidents and reputation-sensitive situations by coordinating across the organization to ensure timely, accurate, and effective communications.
•Manage media inquiries and engage strategically with journalists, industry groups, and other external stakeholders.
•Maintain and improve digital and brand communications, including web content, social media presence, brand standards, and multimedia/digital content development.
•Collaborate on internal communications initiatives such as town halls, executive messages, newsletters, intranet content, and employee engagement campaigns, and help leaders cascade information.

Key Requirements

•7-12 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public affairs, public relations, journalism, agency communications, or a related field.
•Experience supporting crisis communications, issues management, media relations, or reputation management activities.
•Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to craft clear narratives from complex topics.
•Experience managing digital communications channels, including websites and social media platforms.
•Strong business judgment and ability to navigate sensitive situations professionally and discreetly.
