Job Summary

Design electrical and electronic engineering solutions, including subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms. Develop and execute test plans and validation plans across parameters like tolerances, shock/vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and power measurements. Lead and collaborate with internal and outsourced partners, provide design status updates, resolve issues, and deliver reports. Mentor less-experienced staff while representing the electrical hardware team across development project phases.

Key Responsibilities

•Design engineering solutions for electrical/electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
•Develop and implement test plans and parameters for new and existing designs to debug defective hardware and process steps.
•Create validation plans for tolerances and testing areas (form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and power measurements) and publish results.
•Collaborate with management and internal/external partners on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
•Lead a project team for moderately complex product solutions and provide guidance/mentoring to less-experienced staff.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
•Minimum 4-7 years of work experience in electrical design, tools, software packages, electronic hardware architecture, or a related field.
•Develop and implement parameters and test plans to debug defective hardware/electronic units, sub-assemblies, and process steps.
•Create validation plans for tolerances and test areas such as form/fit/function, shock/vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power.
•Independently apply technical judgment and solve complex problems with innovative approaches.
