Key Responsibilities

  • •Design electrical and electronic solutions for parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
  • •Develop and implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs to debug defective hardware/electronic units and process steps.
  • •Create validation plans for tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements; publish results.
  • •Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
  • •Lead a project team of electrical hardware engineers and partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions; mentor less-experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or commensurate experience).
  • •Minimum 4-7 years of work experience in electrical design, tools/software packages, and electronic hardware architecture (or an advanced degree with 3-5 years).
  • •Experience designing and implementing parameters and test plans for debugging hardware/electronic units, sub-assemblies, and process steps.
  • •Ability to create validation plans covering tolerances, form/fit/function, shock/vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and power measurements.
  • •Experience developing reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for moderately complex products while applying independent technical judgment.
