Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, implement, and improve safe and environmentally responsible manufacturing processes.
  • •Use MESH and Eaton/industry best practices to ensure internal and external quality specifications are met (including AS9100 and NADCAP).
  • •Implement Lean Six Sigma tools and support High Performance Work Teams to improve on-time delivery and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • •Design equipment, gauging, and tooling using CATIA solid modeling, and create/maintain PFMEAs, routers, equipment PMs, and technique sheets.
  • •Collect and analyze manufacturing data and metrics; manage project activities and documentation; troubleshoot and improve fabrication, assembly, measuring, and testing processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of two (2) years of post-degree professional experience in a technical role supporting manufacturing processes or related engineering functions.
  • •Proficient at AIAG or equivalent tools for Measurement System Analysis, Capability Analysis, SPC and FMEA.
  • •This position requires access to export-controlled information; applicant must be a U.S. person (citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
  • •Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Jackson, MI will be considered (active-duty military exempt).
