Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop manufacturing diagnostics software for platforms and peripherals using applicable technologies and modern software engineering methodologies.
  • •Develop, test, integrate, and sustain code for new and existing software, including support and maintenance for existing products.
  • •Build and support applications, databases, diagnostics, scripts, firmware, drivers, and BIOS utilities.
  • •Prepare written software and storage specifications and review design/functional/technical/user documentation.
  • •Develop and implement test strategies, communicate project issues and status, analyze quality metrics, and support process improvements with global factory stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Validated knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, and C/C++ programming languages.
  • •Familiarity with PC technologies including Intel x86 architecture, Intel ME, RAID, uEFI, firmware, and BIOS.
  • •Ability to code and debug more sophisticated programs using written or verbal design specifications.
  • •Capacity to become proficient in new tools, languages, and operating systems through training and on-the-job experience.
  • •3–5 years of related experience, with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology as desirable.
