Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as senior technical lead for customer escalations involving AMD Embedded x86 platforms and act as primary escalation point for high-priority issues.
  • •Provide technical leadership and mentoring to MTS engineers and validation teams; drive best practices for validation, debugging, escalation management, and customer engagement.
  • •Define and lead post-silicon validation strategies, including validation activities for new platforms/features and customer deployments.
  • •Lead advanced platform debug and root-cause investigations across interconnects, memory training, connectivity/storage, graphics/display, RAS, platform security, and silicon-to-system interactions.
  • •Partner with BIOS, Firmware, Silicon, Validation, Product, and Quality teams to execute escalation strategies, ensure reproduction/analysis data is complete, and improve validation coverage and documentation.

Salary: INR 4,839,450 - 6,913,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (required).
  • •13+ years of experience in Applications Engineering, Post Silicon Validation, Platform Validation, Product Validation, Embedded Systems, Customer Engineering, Silicon Validation, or related roles.
  • •Extensive hands-on debugging experience with x86 or embedded platforms.
  • •Strong platform-level debug expertise spanning silicon, firmware, BIOS, operating systems, drivers, hardware, and validation domains.
  • •Experience with debug tools and scripting/automation (protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG, firmware traces, crash dump analysis; proficiency in Python).
