Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute sourcing category strategies for polymer additives and catalysts, including supplier segmentation, regional sourcing, contract strategy, risk profile, and value roadmap.
  • •Lead supplier negotiations for technically specified raw materials, covering pricing mechanisms, agreements, allocation protection, quality requirements, logistics, payment terms, and commercial risk provisions.
  • •Monitor market fundamentals and analytics (spend, forecast, inventory, demand, capacity, outages, regulatory and trade impacts) to support negotiation strategy and identify value opportunities.
  • •Build and maintain supply risk assessments and coordinate alternate supply and change management for formulation, manufacturing location, specifications, regulatory status, and quality performance.
  • •Manage supplier performance via KPIs, business reviews, issue resolution, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and escalation; support supplier value-creation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred).
  • •6+ years of related experience with a degree (10 years in lieu of a degree).
  • •5+ years of chemical or related industry experience and knowledge of purchasing/materials management, including contract negotiations (preferred).
  • •Advanced skill level with SAP and MS Excel required.
  • •Experience in a manufacturing environment in technical or business-related positions (preferred).
