•Own the current state of AWS systems and work with the team to identify gaps and improvements.
•Improve operational excellence across the USPTO AWS environment in partnership with the operations lead.
•Serve as final escalation point with the Program Manager to ensure response SLAs are met.
•Collaborate with client stakeholders to define technical requirements and oversee client deliverables.
•Lead a team of DevOps engineers and build a continuous-improvement backlog of infrastructure enhancements.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 199,750 - 270,250 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of IT/digital transformation experience.
•5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud architecture and implementations (preferred) plus experience with Azure or GCP.

•Experience developing and managing high-availability, secure, and automated solutions aligned with best practices.
•U.S. Citizen/Green Card Holder eligible for Public Trust clearance and strong communication/collaboration.
