Job Summary

Operate and monitor Dow’s R&D pilot plant equipment in Wilmington, DE, executing tasks from the Master Task List to support safe, efficient experimental runs. Collect and input plant metrics for statistical process control, troubleshooting process deviations, and participating in root cause investigations. Maintain operating discipline by writing SWPs, performing lockout/tagout, improving procedures, and meeting Life Critical Standards while following shift schedules and training plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and conduct field checks of process equipment, monitoring process conditions, equipment, and control systems in an assigned area.
•Perform assigned operations tasks from the Master Task List, including equipment preparation and sample-related activities.
•Troubleshoot process deviations and problems, and perform process upset/crisis response activities as assigned.
•Monitor and input plant metrics for statistical process control, asset utilization, conversion costs, and production yields to identify optimization opportunities.
•Write SWPs, perform lockout/tagout, participate in root cause investigations, and uphold Life Critical Standards and safety culture.

Key Requirements

•Minimum High School Diploma or GED, plus an Associate’s degree or higher in Process Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or similar; or 3+ years of relevant technical military experience/training; or 3+ years of work experience in chemical facility operations.
•Willing and able to work a shift schedule, including a 12-hour rotating shift.
•Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed.
•Ability to work legally in the United States (no visa sponsorship/support available).
•Ability to follow training plans per facility training plan.
