Job Summary

Experienced Electrical Engineer with healthcare/building services focus leading MEP design in London. You will oversee feasibility studies, direct detailed and performance specifications, and act as the client-facing lead to deliver projects on time and to budget within a multidisciplinary ME P team. The role involves managing junior staff, coordinating resources, and promoting sustainable design practices in a high-profile healthcare project.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design within the MEP discipline and provide design and technical advice as part of a project team.
•Supervise the completion of detailed designs and the work of others in this function.
•Direct feasibility studies and production of detailed/performance specifications.
•Act as the client’s key contact and be responsible for overall project delivery and internal KPIs.
•Mentor and develop junior staff and manage resources to ensure project delivery.

Key Requirements

•Background in Building Services electrical design engineering with healthcare project experience.
•Ability to work as part of a team, and also take a leading role in managing engineers towards delivery of key projects.
•Apply technical judgment to feasibility studies, concept, scheme and detailed design, as well as construction support phases.
•Working knowledge of UK electrical building services design, including relevant standards, codes and regulations.
•BPSS security clearance is a minimum requirement.
