Job Summary

Lead the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, and virtual environments for the E-7 Software team. Partner with stakeholders to define simulation requirements and dynamics, and oversee modeling, simulation, testing, analysis, and V&V to improve system performance and capabilities. Guide implementation of emerging simulation technologies, modernize legacy simulation software, and provide simulation software project management while integrating simulation software with hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the design and development of simulation models, visualizations, and virtual environments/platforms to improve software and hardware test performance, safety, and durability.
•Advise stakeholders on simulation requirements and system dynamics, and oversee design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to optimize system performance and capabilities.
•Oversee validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software code, models, simulations, and test procedures, documenting test results and aligning with real-world data.
•Review data collection and processing for use in simulations, and maintain documentation and technical specifications for simulation models.
•Oversee integration of simulation software with hardware systems and implement emerging technologies; modernize and migrate legacy simulation software to adapt to new operating systems.
