Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct programme planning for SRH and for hospital, trauma, rehabilitation, and disability components of health systems based on technical advice to local authorities.
  • •Build partnerships and networks with stakeholders and advocate in national activities, including strategic planning, programme reviews, resource mobilization, and stakeholder meetings.
  • •Analyze and evaluate best practices and relevant data sources; identify hazards and disease sources and recommend response and preventive measures.
  • •Prepare progress reports, briefings, proposals, and communications for strategic decision-making; coordinate government-WHO collaborative programmes and intersectoral activities.
  • •Supervise project funds and ensure timely documentation, including quarterly work plans and financial forms; conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation at central and hub levels.

Key Requirements

  • •First level university degree in Medicine or Public Health.
  • •At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in sexual and reproductive health and in hospital, trauma, rehabilitation, and disability development capacity and policies.
  • •Experience in capacity building and demonstrated knowledge of health sector activities in emergency response, relief, early recovery, and development.
  • •Knowledge of WHO mandate and goals or experience in UN organizations, international institutions, or NGOs is desirable.
  • •Expert knowledge of English and Arabic; ability to work under pressure with excellent presentation skills.
