Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Customer App in Uganda as the main point of contact between product and local stakeholders, coordinating rollouts, planning, communication, and post-launch monitoring.
  • •Organise testing cycles for new releases and conduct customer interviews to gather feedback, translating insights into clear product requirements.
  • •Own the Sales App in Uganda, coordinating feature rollouts with the local sales team, running structured testing with sales agents, and tracking training and adoption.
  • •Monitor app usage in the field to identify usability issues and ensure Uganda-specific process requirements are captured in the product backlog.
  • •Lead or support ad-hoc product projects end-to-end for Uganda (e.g., integrations and verification partners), managing scope, stakeholders, timelines, risks, vendor alignment, and operational handover.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in an IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • •Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Telecommunications, Fintech, Digital Products, or a similar role.
  • •Experience managing mobile applications, coordinating product rollouts, running user testing (UAT), and engaging stakeholders.
  • •Experience gathering customer feedback and translating business needs into product requirements.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Jira or Confluence; knowledge of Agile/Scrum is an added advantage.
